Shaped the strategic direction of the global AdWords marketing programs (emails, DM, events) through segmentation and dynamic message targeting. Helped develop the GAMMA marketing platform.
Focused mainly on AdWords but worked with many other Google brands including Google Analytics, AdWords Express, AdSense, Nexus and Wallet.
On-site marketing program building from strategy to creative to production
Working onsite with Google was an amazing experience. Great products, incredibly bright client teams and we were building new programs almost from the ground up. One of the advantages of hyper-growth companies is that you have a tremendous amount influence and impact depending on decisions made when maturing the programs. The stakes were very high, the goals were very ambitious and the growth rate was intense.
My tenure was from the start of our agency’s engagement through it’s first major growth phase. There wasn’t much infrastructure built out and the processes and tools were disjointed or non-existent at the time. Google treated us as an extended part of the internal client teams. We had shared KPIs and attended internal meetings as contracted employees. It was a huge opportunity for our teams to help shape how marketing was done for a hyper-growth Fortune 100 company.
Still today there is a team of 125+ FTEs globally who are fully supporting these client programs full time.
